Happy Halloween!

Just finished getting the pumpkins carved for Halloween :)

I used Cricut's Pumpkins Carvings cartridge...

Traced the faces from the stencil cuts...

did some carving!

and we're ready to go!!!

I love this sweet chick and have many ideas to create with this stamp! She is coloured with copics, a little embossing and soft details too :)

The future is bright! Halloween card

With Halloween just around the corner I thought this would be a fun to use this sweet Fortune Teller Gal from Kraftin Kimmie. I love her sweet outfit and crystal ball! I used Crackle Accents from Ranger on the ball and tried to hi-light her dress to match the sentiment. The image is coloured with Copics and background airbrushed. Pattern papers are from My Minds Eye "Wicked" paper pad.

Kraftin Kimmie-- Snowflakes are Winter's butterflies

I've been so lucky to have a chance to play with the new Winter release stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie. This is another image I totally adore. The ground cover is actually a white glitter and for the falling snowflakes I used perfect pearls :) Coloured and airbrushed with Copic Markers!

Krafty Peeks Day 4 Hop & anything goes challenge!

Welcome back to another fun day of Krafty peeks with this sweet gal from Kraftin Kimmie!

I had so much fun making this card :) Embossed the hill with a snowflake design and airbrushed some snowflakes on the background of this scene (with Copic markers). If you don't have an airbrush I find using a stencil (or reverse part of the die cut) and lightly tap ink really gives the same effect! Other than that just a few pearls, buttons, embellishments and lace to complete this card!

We are SO thrilled to share the newest set of FOUR stamps from Rachelle! Let's call it the CUDDLE UP collection!!! It includes stamps called.... CUDDLE UP & KEEP WARM, FRIENDSHIP IS
TWEET, SNOW MUCH FUN and SNOW WONDER!...

Coloured with Copic Markers! Also used clear acetate for the window, painted on snow, plus also added cotton for a little extra snowy effect. A few mini punches (heart and snowflake) for a finishing touch!

Krafty Preview Day Three

Welcome back to day THREE of our OCTOBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing TWO super cute new sets by artist Thais Narciso! They are called.......I'M SNOW HAPPY! and YOU'RE SO TWEET!

I made this little birdhouse card with the new set from Kraftin Kimmie called You're So Tweet! The birdhouse was hand cut using card stock and sketching out a house shape on paper plus added trim using a border punch.
Oh, and I cant forget ..... also added a circle to the center of this little guys new home to give it more of an authentic look.
The snow is the kind found at Christmas used for the village scenes, I've had my bag for years and I believe its called Buffalo Snow Fluries. Lastly a few finishing touches using bakers twine and white paint softly added to the flowers for a more snowy look!

Birthday Girl Tag

Super quick post today! Its our Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and I am off to my MIL's today. If I have time I hope to make a pineapple upside-down cake to take. This recipe is super easy thanks to Betty Crocker and there is a how to video too!! I make this for work all the time and it always seems to bring a smile to the office :)

Halloween Fun!

Thanks so much for peeking in! I've been busy creating with this fun set from Kraftin Kimmie called Hey Ghoulfriend. There are so many sweet images and fun sentiments in this set. It's perfect for Halloween!

two different looks! one picture taken with my camera and the other with my tablet which gives a more purple background effect, lol!!

I've coloured this sweet gal with copics and airbrushed the background for a bit of a spooky feel. The webs are faux, the kind used to decorate at Halloween, airbrushed with a little Copic V15. Added a little pattern paper to tie the card details together plus some bling too!

Sharon will be hosting this week's challenge Back in BLACK!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features anything BLACK on it!!
