TBT Christmas Ornament ATC

Bibiana has one last Throw back Thursday until the new year and I wanted to share an ATC ornament
made a few years back.
This was part of a trade I made over at Swap-Bot.  Wish I had made an extra one for myself but never had the time to complete that. So I thought I would make another today and show you how I did it with a little tutorial.

The supplies ...

Used a Hero Arts music background stamped with distress  ink along with  a cut out Angel ...

Back of the ornament stamped with a ATC ART stamp ....

added tinsel ribbon around the ATC with hot glue...

Cut the picket fence with wire cutters. The fence is from Dollarama our local dollar store. I found it in the Christmas display/village section of the store

Added a bell and hot glued the base of the atc to white cardstock then cut around the fence...

some music ...

Added Christmas carol text paper which has been distressed with Vintage Photo....

airbrushing with Copics ....

plus some  stickles too.

Finished !

close up :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Check out Bibiana's TBT found here. She's super talented and I find lots of great crafting tips on her site!

M is for Milk vintage ATC

This is the second month of ATC trading at my lss, here is my take on this months theme. There are 15 people playing along this month which is so awesome. This also means I have to make 14 more of these little cards by Sunday!
Have a happy Friday and wonderful weekend :)

Be Happy ATC's

Just a quick post of some ATC I made for a class last weekend. The images are from some super cute papers I picked up at my LSS. The paper is called Paradise from the C-thru ruler company and it was alot of fun to use. The backgrounds are created using distress inks along with some super light stamping and stitches. Also created a little holder for these ATC from a 3x12 sheet of cardstock. Thanks for peeking in today :)

Vintage Pink Paris ATC

Happy Friday! A few days off this week has allowed a bit of time for crafting. A little experimenting on this ATC on the background using a rubber stamp and texture magic from Delta. Texture magic is a dimensional paint that adds texture to any surface (...wonder if drywall compound would also work). It was in the dollar bin at our local store so I just had to try it! A thick layer of this gunky material was added to the ATC background, smoothed out with a craft knife and stamped. (Also wiped the stamp with baby oil so it would release from the texture magic.) A few sprays of Glimmer mist, along with vintage photo and walnut distress inks.

Hope your weekend is amazing!

Lucky number 13!

Its been one lucky Friday the 13th. I had misplaced my gold necklace Christmas Eve and gave up searching for it months ago. Came home for lunch and found it sitting in an old pyrex bowl ........so happy :) My Italian grandmother would say the number 13 is a good luck number in Italy, I now believe her!

Here are a few vintage ATC I have been working on. I love this Hero Arts dogwood stamp, it has a beautiful old world charm.
This little set of three is embellished with micro glass beads, stamped in Victorian velvet, vintage photo and sage distress inks. Victorian velvet is a really neat ink, when its first stamped its more of a bold colour and as it dries it has a real soft look to it. This may be my new favorite distress ink! The combination of sage & vintage photo seem to give an old patina look which is great when creating vintage. Also created a little ATC pocket to hold and display these cards!

Made with a mix of Hero Arts stamps & sprayed with Ranger perfect pearls Heirloom Gold mist.
