All is calm, all is bright

Thanks for stopping by. I try to craft after dinner every night whenever possible.   Even if it's for 10 minutes I find it helps to de-stress, which is always a good thing :) So this tag was just a quickie made with scraps I already had cut.

Added the snowy hills to the tag, sewing stitches and lots of gems :) My sewing is done on a small Janome Sew Mini. I love using Coats Button Thread, its super thick and really stands out on paper crafting.

Love bug pin cushion

A little handmade pin cushion made by running fabric through the Big Shot along  with Spellbinders scallop square metal die.

The pin cushion is stuffed with polyester batting right underneath the button. After sewing around the edges of the fabric I made a small scissor snip on the top fabric piece and stuffed the cushion using a tooth pick. Then added a few buttons to cover the opening.

Super easy and fast to make....

Made for Simon Says have a heart challenge!

Just a note ...

A little bit of afternoon crafting today, made this simple card using a pretty pattern paper called Sweet Threads and cardstock. Trying to add more stitches and pp's to my cards for a different look!

Hope the start of your Summer has been good. We are having tons of rain here, guess our April Showers are late this year :)
