Magical Day -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, thanks for peeking in today.!  I've been colouring up this magical image which is a  fave of mine.
I think this might  make a nice Mothers Day card. What do you think?
Made with ...
The paper reminds me of a  floral tea cup. or vintage wall paper!  I stitched up the oval scallop with some thick sewing thread.  Also stitched the back ground paper with some straight and zig zag stitches too
The sentiment was stamped on white card stock which was cut into a banner shape and slightly curled for a different look.
A white sharpie markers was doted on the wings of this gal and on the sentiment too.

The following Copic markers were used to create this card.

Happy Easter - High Hopes

 Wishing you a Happy Easter!
A little festive card created with Bunny Blooms from High Hopes Stamps found here.
I used pink Easter grass, faux daisy's and felt Easter eggs on this Spring design. Lots of light and airy colours here :)
An easel card is always a fun platform for creating a scene!
The Paper banner is hand cut with white card stock and glued to a piece of bakers twine.
Coloured with Copics, White Sharpie Marker and Wink of Stella for a bit of shimmer.

Thanks for peeking! Watch out for the Easter Bunny this weekend!

Bunny Love -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there! Back again to share an Easter card using High Hopes Stamps
Easter is early this year being in March so I really need to get moving on some Spring designs!
I always look for stamps that I will get lots of use with and this fun seed packet has a variety of ways that it can be used.
For this design I cut out the center of the packet to create a window. Used pop dots and a piece of Xpress It paper from Copic to create a grassy scene. the clouds are hand cut with some C1 Copic details.
Added some super sweet bunnies, flowers and butterflies to create a Spring garden scene.
(This stamp would make a super fun shaker card too)
Here are the Copics used on this creation!

A week of Green Celebrations -- St Patty's

Hi there, Happy Friday! It's been a week of Irish celebrations and I wanted to share some yummy treats!
These cupcake toppers were made with High Hopes stamp called  Leapin Leprechaun and he can be found here!

The image was stamped in Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and fussy cut. I hot glued a toothpick onto the back of the image to stick into the cupcakes.
Nice and easy. I decided not to colour the image as I wanted a contrast of various shades of greens for an  Irish feel!
Leapin Leprechaun  is a must have stamp for this time of year. He's just so festive, I will be using him every year for sure!
A shaker card made last year....
A little pot of gold design too ....

Have a fantastic weekend!

Re-Use Recycle and Get Crafty!

A friend of mine treated me to this wall art awhile back! I wanted to do something nice with it and put it away until today :)
This shelf was destine for the  dump and I was more than happy to send it there but.... I had a last minute idea for it. Picked up some paint at our local  recycle center which they offer at no charge. (If your going to use recycled paint remember to patch test it first to make sure it sets and dries properly.)

Hmmm should it be painted pink or blue?  Decided on pink since the Sizzix machines are blue. I really hated this shelf it was in the garage and had always been gross looking!
Painted it from head to toe and added the decals.
Introducing the new embossing/die cut station, it holds everything! Embossing folders , Bigz dies, punches and machines :) I love it!!!!!!
Its a solid shelf, perfect for the embossing machines, no wobbling here!
Everything is labeled for easy access. Changed out the hardware for a cleaner look.
All of the thin dies are stored below. I'm thrilled with the results.
I now have the  Spring cleaning bug which means more to come!
Thanks for peeking!

Home Sweet Home! -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, thanks for stopping by today. I've been playing around with this uber sweet stamp called
I would totally live in this sweet pad!
This card started out a little different . As usual there was another version in my head on how this card would turn out. The butterfly card stock was first up but once the image was coloured it was not the right fit for the card. I went through a series of  patterns and really  they were all too busy.

So....it ended up with no pattern papers and just some embossing for a bit of texture.
The lettering is a gold foil from my sweet friend Greta., which adds a bit of  bling to the design!
The image is coloured with Copics, added stitched and a grassy background.  The lights are on in the mushroom house.  I had thought of creating an open door or a little face peeking out the window on the front door....that may be an idea for next time.!
Thanks for peeking! Happy Crafting

Fairies make a garden grow! -- High Hopes Stamps

 Happy Friday!
I'm back to share a Spring card using the following High Hopes Stamps..
The sweet gal in the window is from Julie's Dream plus the bird is from the Golfer Glen stamp. Curtains were created with sheer ribbon along with some fussy cutting on the window box.
Pansy's are such a wonderful sign Spring has arrived. I though this sentiment was a fun fit to the card! The inspiration for this card came from a little vintage find this week.
We had a leak in the roof this week after the snow storm. While inspecting the ceiling, in the attic  there was a bundle of tin panels that turned out to be an old  doll house!??!  The window details and Brady Bunch brick work  on this fun find  inspired me to create this card!
You never know when inspiration will crop up!! :)
Thanks for peeking! Wishing you an awesome weekend!

Make a wish! - High Hopes Stamps

 Hi there and happy Wednesday!
I'm back with an easel card that I like to call ......
Make a Wish!
Right now we are having a snow storm  and I'm wishing that it would stop :)
We haven't seen a lot of snow this year and Mama Nature has a sense of humor, waiting until the beginning of March for a doozy of a storm like this!

This sweet Gal is wishing for something a little different than me.  I think it was for her flowers to grow really really big! Guessing she used a little Miracle Grow here :)

I think the garden is a  Happy place as it's so peaceful and relaxing!
The added polka dots are created with a white Sharpie poster marker.  If you don't have a white sharpie marker it really is a must have along with a Wink of Stella clear.
The flowers were created in layers with pop dots for dimension!
Thanks for peeking!

April Showers -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi There! Thanks for  stopping by today! Although its not quite April yet we are getting there. For me March is close enough! How does that saying go? ......The early bird gets the worm, guess that I am well prepared for April. I know Spring is around the corner and I'm loving it!
This card actually had a different background which was a bright yellow and pink.  I found  it to bright and busy so I changed it up with a muted grey.  I like it better as the duck is now the star of the show and I think your eyes is drawn to that image first.
The background paper has raindrops on it so I covered them with Glossy Accents. The Clouds and image are raised using pop dots. Sewing  stitches along the edges of the image plus a few gems and gum drops!
The super super cute image is from High Hopes.  I 've used this charming bird on a few projects already.  One being a baby shower cupcakes for work. Its a versatile image that I will be using a lot in the future for sure!

Thanks for peeking.  Wishing you a Ducky day! :)
