Another Halloween Copics card to share. Love this fun stamp set. Fussy cut the kids and added pop dots. The images were coloured with Copics. The cobweb is an old Hero Arts stamp that I picked up at a stamp sale.

Floral tag just because

It's been awhile, made a tag just because. It's been a super busy year and I have a few weeks off work to decompress. The stamp used on this tag I picked up for a quarter at a garage sale today. It's an old Tim Holtz wood stamp. Such a random find, it's always worth a look at a tag sale... You never know!

Just simple and really nothing great but I enjoyed getting a little inky.

Tim Holtz inks and stamp on this tag. There's a shimmer that the camera doesn't pick up. I used an old bottle of tattered angles spray

I don't even think that company is still around...

Scrapbook tag sale and a card!

I'm loving the BetterPress these days. Heres one of my recent cards from the BetterPress society plate.

I made it out to a scrapbook tag sale today. My $15 haul. Not shown is a dauber container which I already put away.

The papers and little stamps were freebies which will be totally used. The cricut cartridge was a dollar. The overlay is missing but but no big deal I just printed a copy. For a dollar I will make it work!

I have a love of Hero Arts and this stamp for $2 is gorgeous...

The old Christmas stamp set was also $1. That old Victorian house stamp may be my Christmas card this year.

Lastly, another favorite is the Anna Griffin embossing folder for $2 which is stunning!

Linda's first show is coming up in St Mary's on April 26th, where she will sell her wares. Each scrapbook page title is hand made with love!

It's exciting to see a friend who is passionate about creating. She has a vision and is going for it with a small crafty business.

Storing my Betterpress supplies -- vintage style

I love to upcycle by repurposing old items, giving new life to something that's been discarded.

On garbage day this bad boy was sitting out for the trash. So of course, as we drove by I said stop!

It's an old silverware box, written inside under the red velvet was 1919. Which I think is kinda crazy!

So here it is. Painted, reinforced and ready for my Betterpress supplies. Thanks for looking!!

Betterpress ultra mini tags

Their simple. I needed tags for a few gifts. Hot foiled Betterpress plates on black cardstock. Tried for elegant.

I signed up for the Betterpress Society back a few months ago. This was one of the plates offered. Lots of parts and pieces to this set. I like that the trees and chairs are split from the main image. There's more possibilities when creating.
