Endless Possibilities

The majority of cards I make are more girly, so this one is a little out of the box.
Tried to keep it simple by using elements such as Hero Arts woodgrain
background, black & kraft.

This stamp set would be good for Movember too :)

Dollarama had a coordinating gift bag which I thought would be a good match. Its actually a bithday card and the inside reads "...on your birthday, enjoy!"

Happy Black Friday. Have fun out there:)

Next 90 minute scramble -- Dec 6th Hero Arts

I was able to play along in Theresa's 90 minute scramble today  on the Hero Arts Flickr site. Her theme was Snow so I came up with these reindeer playing. Check out all the awesome entries found here.

So basically the way it works is the host will provide a theme and you have 90 minutes to post a creation made specifically for the challenge using a hero arts stamp.
(You will need to have a flickr account set up and have 5 or 6 photos posted on your account a week or so before playing so your account is  reviewed and  approved by Flickr)

I will be hosting the next challenge on ...
Saturday December 6th
2PM EST

Please play along, I will be offering a little prize :) and would be happy to help any newbies (just let me know). You can see my Flickr account on the side bar of my blog if you want to check it out.

Here's a link to the Event Time Announcer to figure out the time of the Scramble in your area

Well Christmas is in the air. I came across this sign on my way to One Crazy Stamper last weekend. Yes, Santa will be in the Caledon area Dec 6th lol the same day I will be hosting the Scramble!! :)
So if you are going to the parade you still have lots of time to get home for 2pm EST and play along over on Flickr!

I pulled over on the side of the road to take this picture when I saw the sign. Some guy driving was laughing (At me I guess) LOL!
Oh well at least I made him laugh?!?

TBT Christmas Ornament ATC

Bibiana has one last Throw back Thursday until the new year and I wanted to share an ATC ornament
made a few years back.
This was part of a trade I made over at Swap-Bot.  Wish I had made an extra one for myself but never had the time to complete that. So I thought I would make another today and show you how I did it with a little tutorial.

The supplies ...

Used a Hero Arts music background stamped with distress  ink along with  a cut out Angel ...

Back of the ornament stamped with a ATC ART stamp ....

added tinsel ribbon around the ATC with hot glue...

Cut the picket fence with wire cutters. The fence is from Dollarama our local dollar store. I found it in the Christmas display/village section of the store

Added a bell and hot glued the base of the atc to white cardstock then cut around the fence...

some music ...

Added Christmas carol text paper which has been distressed with Vintage Photo....

airbrushing with Copics ....

plus some  stickles too.

Finished !

close up :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Check out Bibiana's TBT found here. She's super talented and I find lots of great crafting tips on her site!

Thanksgiving Fall Tag

Thanks so much for peeking in today. Super quick post of a Thanksgiving tag made with Hero Arts CG288 Little leaf cling.  I used crackle accencts on the leafs for a weathered look.

Airbrushed with Copics along with some added twine and fall distress inks.

Thanks for looking, have a great weekend.

Merriest Christmas Wishes

Thanks for stopping by today.  I made this little card for Lin's 90 minute scramble on the weekend over at the Hero Arts Flickr group.  I had to leave at the start of the challenge and finally finished my card  later that evening.

The branches of the wreath were made with a Martha Stewart punch and the little berries are tiny glitter balls from the dollar store. Made with Hero Arts cg377 Merriest Christmas Wishes set.

Thanks for looking, have a great day!

All is calm, all is bright

Thanks for stopping by. I try to craft after dinner every night whenever possible.   Even if it's for 10 minutes I find it helps to de-stress, which is always a good thing :) So this tag was just a quickie made with scraps I already had cut.

Added the snowy hills to the tag, sewing stitches and lots of gems :) My sewing is done on a small Janome Sew Mini. I love using Coats Button Thread, its super thick and really stands out on paper crafting.
