Hi there, It's new years eve and we are  getting ready to ring in a new year.
Let me squeeze in one last Christmas tag.  Going to miss making these tags and will be sure to start back up next year!
Today's creation made with ...
High Hopes
The image is coloured with Copics and lightly misted with Perfect Pearls "Gold"
Platinum Stickles, white sharpie marker and a hand typed sentiment all helped to create the scene.
Happy New Year, thanks for peeking in!
Goodbye 2016!!!

Seaons Greetings, Reindeer bus and rolo cards!!

A while back a friend of mine "D" picked up a sweet little vintage  Rolodex  (at a garage sale) for me .
I {heart} the Rolo, love  it so much thank you Miss D !!!!!
I've been wanting to alter one for awhile.
I created these snowy scenes using a Stampendous stamp and die set.
 Just for fun!! :)
A few fun photos of the season, D on the left and me on the right.  We were waiting for our ride when this Milton Special Christmas bus pulled up.  Way too much fun, made my day! I think it played Christmas music too :)
Thanks for peeking, have a great day!

Last minute Christmas Gift -- Part 2

Hi there, I'm back with one more last minute Christmas gift.... a little Christmas ornament creation.
Made with...
&
The base of the ornament is made with a tin tart shell pan found at the dollar store. I used washi tape for the sentiment, pipe cleaner tinsel, acrylic paint, bells and stars too.
The tin was punched with a heavy duty punch along with twine to hang the ornament.
I'm visiting a friend this afternoon and will bring this  little gem with a note on the back.

Last minute Christmas gift - Deer Ornament

It's December 25th and I hope you've had a wonderful day spent with family and friends.
I visit my mother every year on the 24th and after everyone has gone home we pull out the crafting supplies and make a little project.
Here's the start of our mess ....
This worked out really good as I needed a last minute something to put with a gift certificate for my Sister in law that I will be visiting on the 25th for a festive dinner.
We decided to make an  ornament using the Impression Obsession's deer die.
I love this set so much as we have lots of deer in my area and they have always been such meaningful and magical creatures.
The ornament is made with tin tart shells that I picked up at the dollar store.  They come in a pack of three and made an excellent base for the ornament (they are nice and reflective).  I punched a hole using a heavy duty hole punch and threaded twine as a hanger. Added tinsel, wired ribbon , snowflakes and bells too.

I'm entering my creation in the Last Minute Gifts Challenge over on the IO blog found here!
Here's one of many deer sighting in my yard........

Thanks for peeking in. Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas December 24th

Merry Christmas!

 Merry Christmas High Hopes fans!
I'm back to share one last Christmas Tag with you today.

Created with the following High Hopes Stamps ...
&

I wanted to create a real sunny design, no traditional colours on this tag.
I really like this sentiment and thought it would be fun to add this tag to a hostess gift.
All the shopping, decorating and getting ready for the holidays is done! Now it's time to enjoy.
Don't worry, you've got this :)
So I tried to stick with citrus and a nice blue sky colour on this tag. Sewing stitches, cream acrylic paint and orange bakers twine for some sunny added details. I added some Christmas washi tape across the top of the image and a file tab that notes Merry Christmas too.The image is coloured with Copic Markers and also added touches of the acrylic paint to the image.
Thanks for peeking! I hope your able to put your feet up and relax this Christmas.  Remember to enjoy the time spent with Friends and Family.

CP Holiday Train 2016 -- Merry Christmas

Woodland Friends -- High Hopes Stamps!

Thanks for peeking in today. I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas.  We are only one day away and I look forward to the celebrations.

The new collection of stamps from High Hopes is precious.  I love mother natures critters and adore this darling moose.

I used the following High Hopes Stamps found here...

The image is part of a tag and I totally love stamps that I can get multiple uses from. I'm short on one more card for Christmas and decided to remove the tag portion of the stamped image and create a woodland theme.
The image is coloured with Copics, snowy hills were hand cut using white card stock.  The background was embossed with a snowy folder. Some snowy trees and added woodland friends to complete the scene.
The sentiment as stamped in Tim Holtz Festive Berries.  Red twine and some washi tape too.

Thanks for peeking. Not a moose but its most likely the closest I will see in the city.  This male deer was at my back yard bird feeder this week!!

Merry Christmas!
