The path that brought me to the wonderful world of card-making started fifteen years ago when I took up the art of working with stained glass. My experience and artistic growth in this field eventually gave rise to a personal interest in the fields of scrapbooking and paper arts.
The skills and techniques I acquired in scrapbooking led to the development of a passionate interest in card-making.
I enjoy the creative challenge of transforming various colours, textures, designs, patterns and graphic materials into mementoes of a bygone age. I incorporate multiple styles and artistic techniques in my work: from embossing to paper piecing to stamp layering to stitching cards.
Much of my work is inspired by the spectacular beauty I find in nature and my garden.
My work also includes the design and decoration of matchboxes, artist trading cards and seasonal graphic books.
