Precious Little One -- High Hopes

Happy Friday!
This is my last post of the month and I'm going to miss creating with these sweet baby images!

I wanted to do something different today ....so  I decided to die cut the stroller four times.  I glued them together in two's for added strength and scored the top of the back panel so it bends and sits properly on the table.

Added a satin bow, sentiment stamped in a soft pink and a bit of bling to decorate this stroller!
This cute little baby was coloured with copics and sandwiched between the front  stroller panel.
Thanks for peekng!
Have a great weekend :)

We wish you a Merry Christmas -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, I'm back again to share a sweet baby and lamb image from High Hopes Stamps. This is such a beautiful scene for Christmas.
Made with ...

The image is coloured with Copics and some stitches were added around the border of the card, sentiment and  image.  I love this scene and can see using this image for Easter, Christmas and sweet baby designs too.
The star is very glittery as Stickles were added for some extra bling.

I decided to use the Copic Airbrush on the card for some soft touches of colour. This Christmas design has no red and green, just some silver and gold details for a unique, non traditional feel .

Wishing your Dreams come true -- High Hopes

Happy Friday! I've been working on a sweet bear design and just happened to have a perfect sentiment being ...
I love stamps that I can use for more than one occasion or purpose and this little cutie can be used for a baby design or in this case a "dreams come true" card :)

The image was coloured with Copic marker numbers E93,C2,B21,B95,Y26,BG000,Y000,E000,E43
A wee bit of fussy cutting and pop dots.  The pattern paper is a Bo Bunny design which worked out well for this card.

Baby Shower -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, I'm back again to share a little tag creation I've been working on.  Thought these would make some fun baby shower invites to welcome a little baby boy.
Created with the following High Hopes Stamps ...
The tag was hand cut from Kraft card stock and a hole punch at the top.  I used a score board to create a score line  on the back piece of the tag so it would bend with a nice crease and sit like a card.
The tag has lots of stitching including the straight stitch and some zigzag's too.   Just a few Copic markers were used being ...
C3,C5,B00,B01,E000,E11,R11,E93,Y21,E33

Two Peas in a pod

I just cant get enough of the new release from High Hopes.  The images  are darling an I especially like this image as it's perfect for a friends card along with  the sentiment "two peas in a pod"

I had this idea rolling around in my head all day.  I imagined it a little different than the outcome. I'm always glad to try something different,

This card is made with High |Hopes Stamps...

I started off masking the image and removing the babies from my stamping.  I stamped a bunch of peas ( I always call these sugar snaps) For  a  stacked looked!
Stamped them in shabby shutters distress ink and hand drawn the tops that were missing on the pods.
Then a lot of colouring using the no lines Copc  technique....
I used lots of different greens on my design and did some messy colouring for lots of texture ...
Copic# R81,YG61,BG10,BG91,R85,E27,YG67,YG93,YG03,YG00,YG63,YG99,R85,E77,E31,Y21,E74,R93,E33,E93,R21,BG11,YG21,YG17,E000

I decided on a blue background almost like a sky.  Perhaps these sweet babies were playing in the garden :)
Then added my image to a card base! Something different!  The little specks are  actually Wink of Stella, added for some shimmery details.

Thanks for peeing!

Color Swatches and Scrapfest RH 2016

Super quick post for this afternoon.  I've spent the week moving my craft room over to the "larger" part of the basement.
Half way through the week I had to declare a "Code 9" meaning that my husband has just discovered how much crafting supplies I actually have!!!!

YIKES!!!!

He just keeps saying "I can't believe how much crafting supplies you have"

LOL !!!! :) Guess the cat is out of the bag!!!

It's Sunday afternoon and I finally feel that everything has been put back into place.
I will be giving my room a fresh coat of paint next weekend  and will hopefully share some pics after that.
While cleaning and re-organization I cam across my trusty Color Coach from Stamping up.
I actually have very few Stamping up products.  I really like their stamps but including the color swatch I might have like 2 stamp sets that I bought used.
This is probably one of my favorite Crafting items. I find that I will use the same colours over and over again so this helps my use other colors that work well together. I like using this even thou I don't have any of the SU products I just use the colours and match it up to my papers and Copic markers.  I picked this up many years ago at Scrapfest Kitchener.
A friend of mine also wanted one but it was just recently discontinued by Stampin' Up.  So I made here a Color swatch chart with recycled  paint chips I had collected when we were painting the house!

D is a horse fan so I used that as the first page of the swatch.  The thing I like about these is it gives you a picture that uses the colors and a chunk of each colour on the chip. I made a sleeve using a little wooden horse shoe and will give this to her next in a few weeks at Scrapfest Richmond Hill.
This brings me to my last quick note.  I will be at Scrapfest RH in two weeks on the Saturday.  I'm helping out with Copic make and takes at the High Hopes Booth.  Please stop by and say hello. :)

Thanks for peeking!!

Precious Little One -- High Hopes Stamps

Happy Happy Happy Friday!!!
Back with a quick little post to share my creation using ....

Such a super sweet baby hedgehog!! This stamp is a fave of mine :)
Lots of stitching around the image and sentiment, I used an old bottle of liquid pearls for the suds & bubbles in the bath and thought the texture was kinda neat!
The image is coloured with Copics # E41,E42,E43,B01,B34,Y21,Y23,RV0000,BV20 & Sharpie white marker.
I decided to use a yellow and blue theme and added a little ducky (that's been in my stash  for ever)  to the bow. The blue ribbon was added like streamers for a different look to the design.

Thanks for peeking!  Wishing you a crafty weekend!!

The image is coloured with Copics C1,E000,R11,R00,B32
This design was based on the High Hopes Sketch ...

Halloween ATC Swap 2016

I joined a Halloween Swap over a year a go on Swap Bot.  The swap was hosted by a friend of mine so I wanted to participate.   Basically you have one  year to make 31 different ATC's (ATC's are Artist trading cards with the specific size of 3.5x2.5).  These are made for one partner  to open every day in the month of October.

The ATC's need to be wrapped and numbered too. Well..... a year flies by and before you know it you need all 31 different ATC's created, wrapped and mailed!!
Yikes,  that was a lot of work!!

The book shown in the picture was create with pockets to hold the ATC's. I hope "S" likes the package I sent her. I also wrapped up a few goodies for her too :D

I actually made a set for myself too and  will post them in October as a count down to Halloween.

Thanks for peeking!
Have a great day :)
