Dream -- High Hopes Stamps

TGIF!  I've been dreaming about the weekend, a few days off work, sleeping in and crafting!  Let's get this party started!!

A little creation using ...

I also used Wink of Stella clear that I picked up at One Crazy Stamper. It's hard to see in the photo but I added a little sparkle to the unicorn :)

The background was airbrushed using Copic markers and a stencil for a mystical feel to the card along with some gems, silver Stickles and stitches.

I fell in love with this Unicorn at first sight!! :)

Thanks for peeking, here;s the markers used....

Don't stop the music, File Folder -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, it's another happy Wednesday!
I created a file folder  using High Hopes ...
I thought it would be fun to add Summer 2016 photos  of friends, family, the garden, BBQ's and everything else Summer!
The image and background was coloured with Copics. I trimmed down a file folder and scored the bottom so it would sit flat. Matted the image with bright orange card stock and used a file folder tab die (found here) to create the dividers.
The sentiment is cut up and matted with black card stock so it stands out against the background.
Behind the bow is a piece of Velcro and on the opposite side of the folder  the piece of ribbon is hot glued to the back of the folder.
Thanks for peeking!
Have a super crafty day!

Basketball Love -- High Hopes Stamps

Happy Friday!!I'm back again and excited to get this weekend started :)
Just wanted to share my card using High Hopes Slam Dunk Stamp found here!
I decided to make a two panel card design and tried to tie the two parts together with sewing stitches!
The heart is a leather die cut from my hubby's old work boot  and this little cutie was coloured with Copics!
The design is more  simple and masculine (so ... no frills here!) The pattern paper is actually a basketball print which really came in handy for this card!

Here's the Copics I used!

Wishing you an awesome long weekend!
Hope you have time to get crafty!

Vintage Wedding Memories -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Back again to share a little Vintage Wedding Card.  I thought this design would be nice for an Anniversary. I love the look of old school  Sepia  photos!
Some added  embossing using a Heart folder tulle, vintage papers and a selection  of muted copic markers were added to the design.  The flowers are cut with a newspaper pattern paper added Platinum Stickles.

Hoping your day is as special as you are! -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there and happy hump day! I'm back to share a little card with this Sporty image from High Hopes Stamps.
This design started out much different than the end result, which is the case with a lot of my cards. I actually had a star theme and the first panel on the card was starry patten paper along with an All Star Sentiment. Well .....something was not working, I showed the card to a friend asking for her opinion.

The first thing she asked was why are there stars when the image is an daylight scene????  Good question but I'm a bit stubbron and decided to spend more time fiddling around with the design trying to make it work and it wasn't happening!

Once I changes out the stars everything fell into place and  I was happy with the design.  So... there are stars hiding under that front panel,  but the recipient of the card doesn't  need to know that!
When your not sure phone a friend :) !!!

Bookmark fun -- High Hopes Stamps

HAPPY Friday!!! Yahoo, the weekend is almost here! Looking forward to some crafting time :)
I created a little bookmark using the following stamps...
Twine, beads, High Hopes Stamps and my laminator were used  for this creation.  The image is coloured with Copics plus  added Vintage Photo distress ink around the edges of the bookmark. On the back I added my initial to personalize the creation :)
Ran the bookmark through the laminator,  then used a hole punch and looped the twine onto the bookmark!
The sentiment is the perfect touch for the creation and works so well with this image ( I just could not resist!!) The butterfly is hot glued into place and added a paper backing to make it more secure.

Notes! -- High Hopes Stamps

Happy Wednesday! Back again with a quick post and to share a note book created using High Hopes Stamps.
I decided to create a note book  after attending a crop over at One Crazy Stamper. The Gals  I joined for the day were super organized! They had mini plastic cases used  to carry their coloured stamped images along with a book to record  marker numbers used for a projects and to sketch out card designs!
I knew that I need to get organized!
Created with...
The "notes" book is just a dis-assembled dollar store book.  I removed the coil and decorated the cover using a tree pattern paper, super cute Owl  and foam letters.  The letters were inked up with Tim Holt's Raspberry Ink and added Stickles The owl is popped up with  foam dots and added punched hearts are also coated in Stickles. A few die cuts and the book was put back together and ready to use.
I found a plastic container and added my coloured Copic images, note book, calender and thumb drive that contains SVG files! Feeling pretty organized and ready to create :)
The kit is purse sized and has already come in handy while in the waiting room at the doctors office :)

Puppy Love -- High Hopes Stamps!

Hi there, We are having a new challenge over at One Crazy Stamper this month and it's
Anything Goes!!
I made this card with the following supplies ..
Supplies Used -- High Hopes Everything Grows with Love SentimentPuppy LoveSharpie White MarkerCopic Xpress Paper,Black Soot Distress Copic C0,C1,C3,C5,C7,E50,E11,R11,E20,R21,R24,R29,E31,E33,E37
This gal and her pup reminds me of the sweet young lady that I teach Scrapbooking every few weeks!
J is cute as a button and she has a dog just like the one on the stamp!
This card will be set aside for her and I will have to pick up this stamp for J next time I'm at One Crazy Stamper!

I tried to keep the the colour scheme black, white and red so when it came to colouring her shirt I wasn't  sure exactly what to do?? I ended up creating polka dots with my R24 Copic Marker to keep with in the same colours I was using.
The Sentiment was masked and inked on a partial circle for a different look!
A red heart gem and glittery bog bone  were some finishing touches to the card.
