ATC Recipe Pockets

Happy Friday!!!!!!
I've been working on Artist Trading Cards (ATC's)  as part of a trade I joined in on awhile back.  I decided to include some fun Halloween recipes and the Halloween Mini Set from High Hopes is perfect for food related Halloween Fun!!!
I made two different ATC recipe tags being "Candy Corn Jello Cups and Spooky 7 Layer Dip.
How fun is that?? Its the kinda thing I would make for my co-workers on one of our traditional Food Celebration Days at work. Last year I made these cupcakes for them using the same set ...
Honestly this stamp set rocks!! I love it :)
Okay .... so the back of the tags have the Recipe details. All the papers are from One Crazy Stamper, they have the best selection of Halloween pattern papers in town!
Thick twine, plastic spiders, black sewing stitches, pumpkins and hand typed Recipe banners helped create these tags.
Lastly a quick pic of my cat helping create the ATC tags! I think she's sick of wearing a fur coat on these hot and humid Summer Days were having!
Thanks for peeking! Wishing you a great Weekend. Hope you get crafty and create some Fall and Halloween designs! I would love to see your creations in our Current challenge found here!

Halloween ATC Mini -- High Hopes Stamps

 Hi there, Happy Wednesday! :)
I created a little mini book to hold ATC's as I'm participating in a Halloween swap.  If you not familiar with ATC's they are "Artist Trading Cards" and basically you decorate a 2.5x3.5 inch piece of card stock based on a theme.
I am creating 31 Halloween ATC's for my partner to open each day in the month of October .  They will be individually wrapped and numbered as each card will be a surprise.   So.... I  thought a pocket style mini would be a fun holder for the cards!
I used the following stamps to create these mini books ...
The images are coloured with Copics, Halloween cob webs, die cut images, trims and ribbons were added for some Halloween fun.
A snap latch was added to the mini books to close and secure the pages. The sentiments are stamped on a coffin die cut and lots of pop dots were added to the pages for some added dimension. Think I'm missing some glittery goodness which will be added before I mail out the book and ATC's to my partner!
Thanks for peeking!
I used the following markers from Copic...

Fuse Tool We R Memory & Halloween ATC's

We're having a heat wave here in Toronto.  The weather is gross especially if you have no air conditioning (like me!)  I've been on Vacation for a few weeks and the basement has been my best friend (as it's cool down there!)

My cat above likes to help craft whenever possible! :)

Currently working on Halloween Atc's as part of a trade a friend is hosting on over at Swap Bot.
I picked up a Fuse Tool to make those fun little pockets filled with goodies that  you see around blog land. When I brought it home I realized that it looked a lot like a wood burning tool I had.....
So... It turns out that the red wood burner works perfectly for creating pockets. I used a metal L square as my ruler and ended up  returned the Fuse.  Also discovered that page protectors are an economical alternative when creating your pockets!
I created a few ATC pockets filled with sequences and seed beads.
This technique will be perfect for shaker cards!
I have 10 ATC's made and 21 more left to create before the end of the month! Yikes !!
Thanks for peeking! Keep cool :)

Boo! High Hopes Stamps

Happy Friday!!!
I've been getting crafty with a few Halloween stamps. My creation today was made with ....
I love this Boo Crew as the image has all the elements to create some Halloween Fun!
The sewing stitches are a mix of zigzag and straight stitches to give a  creepy look to the card. Purple glitter paper, for the background plus  sequences and seed beads were added to a banner style shaker pocket for a bit of shimmer!

A selection of twine and fibers were added to the card along with Copic Marker numbers...
Y15,C7,E31,YG61,E39,Y000,YR00,C5,BV02,C3,C2,N3,E23,YR07,B95,R21,C1,BV000,BV04,Y21,YG63,R85,YR20,0,YG11,E000,R93,C0,YR21,E43YR04,C00,E95

Thanksgiving recipe card -- High Hopes Stamps!

Hi there, Happy Wednesday! Just wanted to share my creation made with ....
I decided to create a recipe card that includes our  favorite after Thanksgivig meal (and it helps use up all the extra turkey) The recipe/tag card sits in the Chevron style envelope.  I used the Country Harvest stamp and created a belly band for the envie.
The recipe ingredients are on the front of the card (Turkey Pot Pie) and the instructions, cooking time and temperature are listed on the back of the card.  Double bows, buttons, and traditional Fall Colours helped create this design :)
I will be sending this recipe to a friend that gave me a few really nice Fall recipes last Thanksgiving :)
Copics were used on the recipe card. Copic numbers,,,
C5,N2,N3,E33,YR21,E93,C2,E43,Y23,N5,C7,E19,E41,E39,G21,E07,E19,E41,W1,E27,YG93

Happy Fall - High Hopes Stamps

Happy Friday! We made it through another week! Well... for me that was easy as I'm on vacation right now!
Fall is just around the corner and with that in mind I decided to create a Thanksgiving card.  I love  using traditional Fall colours as it's always such an easy colour combo to work with.

Creation was made using ...
The card base is a side step  easel  and the background is created with a burlap paper for some texture. The image was  coloured with Copic Markers, glossy accents and some plaid ribbon for added Fall fun!

I decided to only use a  small portion of the sentiment/ Fall greeting which actually reads "have a blessed season filled with apple cider, hay rides, pumpkin .... and so on! I can see changing it up and really getting a lot of use from this stamp :)

Thanks for peeking! Wishing you a great Weekend. Hope you get crafty and create some Fall and Halloween designs! I would love to see your creations in our Current challenge found here!

Hi there, Happy Wednesday! Peeking in to share a fun little Halloween Card made with ...

The embossing folder is from Sizzix  called Batground which I picked up on a recent visit to One Crazy Stamper.  Stitches were added using a black cotton thread with a mix of straight and zigzag stitches for a different look :)
Thanks for checking out my creation! Have a great day :)
