Happy New Year! -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, just a few more days to a brand new year!
Welcome 2016 I'm ready for you :)
This card was created using High Hopes Under the Mistletoe found here!
I got rid of the mistletoe and changed the stamp from a Christmas Design to a New Years Image.
The image is coloured with Copics and Pearl's dress has the look of sequences by dabbing various colours of Copics on her outfit.
The foil elements on the card were created with Heidi Swapp's mini Minc found here
Touches of confetti were added to the card for some fun details and silver Stickles too.
Do you have any crafty New Year's resolutions for 2016?
For me it's setting aside extra time to create and of course keeping my craft room organized. Since I've been off of work this month I have my craft room totally organized.  My Husband tells me he will come back to check it out in a few days as he know it will be upside down and totally messy by then. (As this is usually what happens!)
So it's a goal and I will try my best to get organized :)
Thanks for peeking! Wishing you all the best in 2016

This little cutie is coloured with Copics, Added Cotton balls for some snowy details and
white acrylic paint. The sentiment was a gift from a friend which I love!!! Thanks Jane :)

Lil Snowbird -- Snow globe High Hopes Stamps.

Hi There, I'm back with a few last minute projects I created just before the big day!!
I made a few handmade snow globes using High Hopes Lil Snowbird found here.
Espresso jars were used for the snow globe and filed with glittery mesh material, white bottle brush trees, silver pipe cleansers and other Winter  goodies.
The sides of the jar were painted with white acrylic paint and touches were added to the bells and tinsel on the top of the jar.  Also a mini chalkboard was added to the top were a note or name written for a personal touch.
Lights  which run on a battery and the battery pack was adhered to the back of the jar with Velcro.
The jars are fairly easy to make I think the hardest part is positioning the image and trees inside the jar.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

Different shapes of card stock and pattern papers were added to the book for some added interest. Added touched of white acrylic and Swiss dots embossing folder for a snowy hill.

This is a very happy Wednesday for me as today is my last day of work until the new year!!!
Its going to be a busy day to get everything done but well worth it!! :)
Okay, lets get down to business and talk about this Santa.  Does he not look like he's taking a Selfie or two or three??
This jolly old Saint Nick is from High Hopes called Three pane Santa found here

I decided to add mini pom pom's to the three panes and some sweet little dimples using a Sharpie White Poster Pen that I picked up last time I was at One Crazy Stamper.
It's a no frills card, more on the masculine side and I think hubby would enjoy this one for sure!!

Page Pals -- High Hopes Stamps

Happy December 1st . I've been busy creating some Christmas Page Pals which are basically bookmarks with a Christmas Theme!
I decided to use some non traditional colours and the background snowflake paper inspired the theme for this project. The bookmark cut is from the Cricut craft room and was a freebie for this week. It would be easy enough to make you own with a scallop die or  fancy scissors and some paper folds.
The snowman are coordinated with the base and twine for a uniformed look.
This was a super fun project and these sweeties make me smile.

Wintery Christmas Ornament -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there, thanks so much for stopping my today. Christmas is just around the corner and I've started to think about the tree and taking the ornaments out from the basement. It's always tons of work to get everything decorated for the holidays but well worth it in the end.
I usually get together with a few friends every year and we each make a Christmas project and teach each other how create our project. It's always a fun time and I was thinking why not try and make an ornament!
So here it is!!! I found a clear plastic ornament at my local dollar store. It was filled with tinsel which I removed and added my own assortment of sequences, gems mini ornaments and other odds and ends too!  Everything is hot glued inside the ornament and basically I dropped hot glue from the top of the opening and used a pencil to press all the parts and pieces into the glue. The image was rolled up and dropped into the ornament onto a bed of hot glue.  It was a little tricky but just played around with it until I liked the look.

Thanks for peeking! Hope you get crafty and make an ornament for the tree :)

Think Snow! High Hopes Stamps

If you like it or not Winter is on it's way and if you live in my part of the world we had our first snow fall last night.  I haven't accepted this change in weather as of yet and taking my snowy / frozen clothes off the laundry line after work yesterday totally proves that!

I love the designs in this stamp release. Many darling  details like the sweet candy canes in this Snowman's pocket. The tree  has added acrylic paint to give a soft and snowy look. Hot glued cotton to the base of the tree and an added star for the tree topper.
The sentiment is from High Hopes from the snowman mini set found here
Thanks for peeking! Have a crafty rest of the week :)
