Wild Raspberries & a card :)

Hello Friend Card
Made with Hero Arts cl297, CL381 and cl218, coloured with copics. The colours are inspired by the wild raspberries in the back yard. These raspberries are early this year and there are so many. I hope to gather enough to make some jam! They are also good with a scoop of ice cream, chocolate sauce & peanuts!!
Thanks for stopping by! Smiles :)

lilies and butterflies

xoxo butterfly card
Just a quick card to share using Hero Arts CL342 Everyday sayings & F5158 Winged Butterfly. The background is a stitched material almost like a mesh organza that has beads and clear sequences. Lightly stamped x's & o's in the background with antique linen & added some extra sequences too. The butterfly is doubled stamped on vellum paper using peeled paint.

These lilies come up every year and they just brighten up the backyard. They have been out for a week or so now and I am just getting around to checking them out.
Thank you so much for stopping by ...
Have a great afternoon! :)

Still enjoying this cloud stamp from Hero Arts, its great for Summery outdoor scenes. I am finding it's better to ink up the clouds and stamp on scrap paper then stamp the card. Its gives a more natural look to the background. Hero Arts has clouds that come horizontal or vertical, both would be great to have!
Made with k5400 Vertical clouds and CL381 Raccoon and flower.
Also wanted to share a photo of a neat cloud we spotted last night after dinner :)
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers day to all the great Dad's out there. This is an old picture of my Grandfather coming home from a fishing trip (and the little gal is me!). He was the kindest person I will ever know and I just smile when I think of all the wonderful & funny memories. I am not big on posting pictures of myself but I do love this photo & will always cherish it. Can you tell what era this photo is from (see that lovely olive green fridge). Yikes, that was one heck of a messy kitchen!
Have a wonderful Fathers Day full of cherished memories.

Just a note

Just a note Birdie Card
So happy it's Friday! Just a quick post this morning before I get ready for work.
This card is made with Hero Arts CL141 Fanciful Swirls and CL342 Everyday Sayings. I tried to curl some of the leaves and branches for added texture and added some zig zag stitches. Sewing paper is easy and fun, just need to adjust the tension on the sewing machine. I usually practice on scrap paper until I like the stitches.
Hope you have a wonderful Friday and creative Weekend! :)

Since it's been raining all weekend it's given me a chance to spend time in my work room, straighten up and make a card too! Just getting to know this cloud stamp, trying to figure out the best way to ink and stamp it. (I just used a fine tip marker for the butterfly trail. I started out trying to make a trail with tiny dots but it seemed to busy for the card.)I think this stamp is a great background for an outdoor look!
I will try to make a few more cards with it over the next few days.
Hope your day is wonderful! :)
