I will be a guest over at Kraftin Kimmie for the month of January, Ive been working on cards for the month  :) Totally excited!

While I'm working on the cards I will leave you with a quick tour of my craft room. Its nothing fancy but its organized enough where I can actually  find crafty things when needed.

If you have any organization tips I would love to hear them!

Merry Christmas

The big day has finally arrived!  Wishing you a wonderful day spent with family and friends.
A very merry Christmas to you.
This little tag is made with Penny Blacks Red Star stamp. I love the old school vintage feel to this stamp.

I splattered lots of white paint to look like snow...

chalkboard Christmas jars

Hi, thanks for peeking in tonight. I've been busy craftin up some festive jars.  I found some great tips and craftin ideas from a lady on youtube (Roxyfur) found here.

The jars are from dollarama and they have been painted with chalkboard paint.  2 coats in either direction letting the layers dry in between.  Once the layers are dry I seasoned the chalkboard surface by rubbing a layer of chalk on it.

Since the caps are clear on the jars I decided to add Kraftin Kimmie stamped images for some added fun. Plus also some red glitter tape from my friend Linda :)

added some Candy Cane cups to the jars (they are super yummy) !!

Copic coloured the images and added them to the caps along with some trimmings and bells.

and that's about it!
 Thanks for stopping by!
Merry Christmas :)

Hero Arts 90 minute scramble Saturday Dec 6

The next 90 minute scramble is on Saturday December 6th at 2pm EST

So basically the way it works is the host will provide a theme and you have 90 minutes to post a creation made specifically for the challenge using a Hero Arts stamp.
(You will need to have a Flickr account set up and have 5 or 6 photos posted on your account a week or so before playing so your account is  reviewed and  approved by Flickr)
Please play along, I will be offering a little prize :) and would be happy to help any newbies (just let me know). You can see my Flickr account on the side bar of my blog if you want to check it out.
Hope to see you on Saturday!
