Slimline Christmas

I've had this stamp set forever and have not used it until now. I'm pretty sure it was a gift at a crop I went to. Coloured with Copics including the background.

.

I'm liking the slimline style!

I cut the card and envelope with a We R Memory score board.  Added Stickles for a little glitter!  The stamp is from Stamping Bella.

Thanks for looking!

Christmas tags

I found an old wood set of Stamping up stamps at the thrift store and made  some tags just for fun.

Coloured with Copics and fussy cut.

Thanks for looking! Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ

The Grinch

My first year not sending out Christmas Cards. Canada Post has been on strike since November so sadly that's the situation here.

I did send out a few in the neighborhood at least. Guess I will be ready for next year!

I have some Tim Holtz dies going on along with a really cool wood embossing folder from stamping up! sentiment is from Hero Arts..

Thanks for looking! ❤️

Merry Christmas

I was recently gifted a Glimmer type machine from a good friend. This machine has a lot of possibilities.
I decided to try a technique using the Betterpress, Glimmer and embossing folder.
Fun to try something new. The foil look is a nice touch for Christmas.

ATC with pocket vintage Christmas

I recently received an email asking about an ATC pocket I made many years ago.  I just drew a template  around the ATC adding tabs along with score lines.  I don't have the original template so made another.

It's better to make the pocket a little larger so the ATC will fit with ease.

Score the side tabs and bottom crease of the pocket which is half way down on the template.

Then corner round the top corners of the pocket for a more finished look.

Add decorative stitches to the  back part of the pocket. Then add glue on the tabs and on the ATC around them same thickness as the tabs and seal the sides together.

That's about it! Decorate as needed❤️

Fun with Friends ๐ŸŽ„

Nothing better than seeing friends over Christmas. I met 2 friends at our local scrapbook store early on a December Saturday  morning.

I usually bring the girls a card and thought using this stamp set was perfect

I use clear cellophane envelopes which is perfect for adding a bottle of glitter glue behind the card just for fun.

The card is colored with Copics along with added glossy accents , stickles and  liquid applique.

This stamp set comes out every Christmas from Art Impressions called Christmas carol friends.

Thanks for looking๐ŸŽ„

I've enter my card in the Art Impressions challenge just for fun. Link found here

Winter snowy card

I made this card with the Betterpress. I'm still loving this machine and the possibilities.  The birds are foiled with a glimmer  type machine a friend generously gave me.

Inks are Tim Holtz distress which I actually prefer with the Betterpress.

Deer have a special place in my heart and it's one of the reasons I love this plate❄️

Thanks for looking❤️

Fall Betterpress

Playing around with the August Betterpress plate. Love the simple leaves to make beautiful Fall cards. I used distress inks which worked well.

Thanks for looking. Have a great Friday! ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ❤️

Birthday card for a friend

I had won this stamp set back a few years ago. It was demoed in a Facebook live and it has been a favorite ever since. Colored with Copics including the black background.

Thanks for peeking ❤️

Betterpress little trees

Some little trees cards made with the Betterpress. I used stickles to glam up the details.  Several layers of the die cut tree for a thick card effect.  Always good to get an early start on Christmas Cards. I think these would be really sweet tied to a container of cookies. Thanks for looking!

Pretty in pink Betterpress

I recently discovered the Betterpress and I'm  pretty much in love with this machine. Only have the plate  that came with the machine and a set of sentiments.  I used a friends plate for this creation!

Just for fun a small water colored tag. ๐Ÿ’–

Life is short

No lines technique using momento sand ink and copics. Kept this one simple with a strip of pattern paper at the bottom of the card.
