It's been a beautiful warm Spring day perfect for a drive and visit to my MIL's on Mothers Day. Yesterday evening was spent with my Mother crafting until about 3am. Yes ... I did say 3 am and oddly enough I was the one that was tired and ready for sleep?!!

Lots of lemon Tea, chatting and crafting supplies everywhere!

Created this little tag using a sewing stamp set's sentiment and this sweet image picked from Ma's stash. The tag was just cut with scissors and pleated a ribbon using the sewing machine.

Thinking of you

Been water coloring or at least trying to. There are two different types of watercolor paper, Cold press which is very textured and that's what I've used here. Also there's hot press which has a smooth finish and is good paper for fine detail.

Something different and it was fun to play with the watercolors :)

Hero Arts CG434 Floral Blossoms and CL434 Just Find Me

Sending Smiles your way

I came across this sweet Hero Arts stamp set while organizing my stash called CL444 Sending Smiles. The background is created using Copics for the grass and sky details. The ribbon is from May Arts and card stock from Michael's.

I left this card along with these lavender rosettes on a fellow scrapbooker/friends desk at work this morning. Hope it made her smile :) !!

We went to Curry's Art Supply on the weekend, Lots of eye candy.... beautiful hand made papers and yummy Copics :) Such fun to look around and get inspired!!

Forever in my Garden

Been creating a few ATC's this week. I love this sentiment and thought it could be a nice compliment to this big Hero Arts flower. Prismacolor pencils and Tim's walnut distress ink for a splash of color.

Used an ATC stamp for the back which really comes in handy when creating multiple editions.

Recently decided to stamp out all the clear and rubber stamps into a journal to help organize and also help decide the stamps used for a project. While I really like the idea its turned out to be a really big task...

The journal is an old Address book with a sweet front cover. I plan on numbering the tabs and sort by specific themes and seasons.

Trying to stamp a few images each morning over coffee and after dinner too.

Life is an Adventure! Scrapfest Kitchner 2014

Hope you are doing well. It's been a while since I have posted as work has been super busy in the past few months and crafting was put on the back burner! Well I'm back and have a little post about my Scrapfest adventure. Picked this Kraftin Kimmie Stamp up in Kitchner while I was at the show :)

There was make n takes too. This was a chalkboard Egg we made at the Couberg Crafts Booth!

Watched a demo done by Danesa at the Bizzy Bee stamp and scrap (Toronto) booth :)

Peeked in at Lisa Yang's demo from Local King Rubber Stamps. She came all the way from BC and I really like her stamps!

Also looked for sale Copics at the show which ranged anywhere from 3.25, 4.00 and 5.00 depending on the booth.

And that's about it... ran out of money and went home :) Can't wait to do it again!!

Your an Angel

There's something about blue flowers that I just love. These were made with white cardstock cut into spirals, shaped and lightly airbrushed with Copics. I've been hanging out over at the Alyce's Kit and Clowder Website which is an awesome platform for Copic users.

Love 2-14 Happy Valentines Day !

I've been having some fun playing around with Valentine designs. This was a super quick one layer card that I made Sunday night before bed. I used a light dusting of Aqua glimmer mist on the card and glossy accents over the heart.A touch of ruby red bakers twine and that about does it! We have a long weekend here being "Family Day" and I look forward to having some time off to craft. Also hope to pop into One Crazy Stamper to see any new goodies that may have arrived since the last time I was there :)

I spotted these treats at Tim Hortons last Saturday Morning before work! It was too early in the morning to eat so it was just Java.... but may next time :)

We've had an incredible amount of snow this Winter and a huge snow storm today! I took this picture from inside my front window back a few weeks ago. I was so happy to see this little guy.

Cherish the little moments

I've recently fallen in love with Giraffe's and Elephants so receiving this stamps from a special someone was pretty awesome. I love this sweet gal and plan to use this stamp often, I think it will be perfect when attending baby showers to have a card made with this image!!

I Copic coloured this sweetie and added some floss here and there too.

I am often baking for the gals at work. I made these awhile back for a baby shower. Though it would be fun to have both pink and blue icing and the gals could choose their cupcake based on if they were hoping for a girl or boy... or ...take two if there wish was twins lol!!!
