I just melted when I saw this stamp online, still playing around with it trying to decide on the next card to make.
Here in Canada it's the Victoria Day Weekend. Victoria Day celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday on May 24th. This weekend marks the start of Summer here in Ontario and its the weekend I start my gardening. (It usually warms up by May 2-4 & we don't have to worry about frost.) Victoria day also means Monday off of work which is a super nice treat!
I know how great it feels to have an extra day off, Nat! So nice! I adore this card, by the way! The texture and layering is wonderful! I love that lace! Is that blue vellum you used for the flowers? They are just perfect for the card! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Vintage card Nat, the lace is stunning against the distressed image.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhh this is georgeous Natalie. Perfect for Victoria Day ... the lace, pearls and old Victorian colours. So much to enjoy yet not over done. Beautifully balanced in texture and design. I love the soft colour values with the deep violet border. I love this . If it were sent to me for my birthday, I would keep this next to my antique china or tea pots. The purple background is very regal. Have a lovely Victoria day and enjoy your gardening.
