High Hopes Treat Bag tutorial! Happy Halloween!

Hi there, hope all is going well!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Since Halloween is almost here I decided to create a few treat bags for my friends.  Filled with a few scrappy items and candy of course!

This would be a fun project to make with or for the kids! Or how about a Halloween party's loot bag,
It just might be the perfect way to get in the Halloween Spirit :)
Made with High Hopes ..

Below is a tutorial on how to create these treat bags. Be sure to watch the video!
Chester is coloured with Copic Marker numbers ...
C1,C3,C5,E33,E35,E13,VO1,V04,V06,YG03,YG05,YG23,E50
The card stock is cut to the width of the treat bag and at a length of 7.5 inches.  I scored the card stock at 3 3/4 inches and forded in half.  Ribbon was tied into a bow and the image fussy cut and pop dotted to the base.  I used some silver Stickles as the finishing touch to these toppers.
Super fast and easy to create!
Here's a little close up of the Halloween fun! :)
Here's the little tutorial I created, please have a peek at the video!

Scrappy Dollar Store and Garage Sale finds

Hello, hope all is going well!
Just a quick post tonight. I have a love of Dollar stores and Garage Sales.  Here in the Toronto area we have Dollarrama and a few other awesome stores.  Were finding that Dollarama is bringing in more name brands like EK, Martha Stewart and K&Co, May Arts Ribbon &  scrapbooking items.

Every store's selection is slightly different and the selection is amazing. Rows of Halloween and Christmas items, .... man they have my number for sure!! I have a friend north of the city  that's been pretty amazing finding some of the items on my wish list.

I'm also a garage sale fan.  In the Summer time its a Saturday morning ritual.  Up early, grabbing a coffee and driving around town.  In the Fall you can always find scrapbooking garage sales and although there is no Scrapbook Store in my area I always make a date with my BFF to attend.

So, I though I would start posting every once and awhile some of my favorite finds that you too can be on the look out for!
The picture above is my kitty, she's been pretty needy ever since my other cat passed away.  She likes sitting on the table while I take my photos of my cards and tries to help out when she can!

This dollar store find was found at "Everything for a dollar Store" in Meadowvale and  oddly enough only one of the four items was only a dollar. :)
The stamps were 2 bucks
Foram squares $1
Foam Rolls $1.50
I love these thick pop dots and rolls of foam adhesive.  Its always worth the drive out to this dollar store just for these.
The clear stamps caught my eye.  You can never have enough sentiments and these are pretty large and cool saying.
Thanks all for now !!!
Thanks for peeking! Have a great Saturday evening:)

EEK -- Happy Halloween, High Hopes Stamps!

 Hi there and Happy Saturday!
Just playing around with this fun web design from High Hopes!
This little ATC holder was created with ...

The  box was created by using two die cut envelopes that were glued together to create a mini box.  I added a handmade ATC (Artist trading card) and a Tag that I will use to write a note on the back for a friend!
Filled up the box with the handmade items.....  It would also be fun to add a few treats too!
The greeting was stamped with Momento Black Ink on purple card stock.  I added a punched whole to the tag and tied purple ribbon into a bow.   The spider has white floss tied around it and hot glued to the "EEK" decal!
Coloured with Copics markers #'s CO,C1,C3,C5,C7,Y21

Trim, cob webs, spiders and bows were added to the box along with some sheer web fabric.  I used a pinch of hot glue on the fabric to keep it in place.
Thanks for peeking, hope you get crafty this weekend!

Brr... -- High Hopes Stamps!

Happy Friday!

Hope all is going well! I've been creating with some of the new release stamps from High Hopes :)
With sweater weather just around the corner I decided to create a cozy design using ...

The image is coloured with Copic markers.  I fussy cut my little penguin friend and added some white liquid applique to the image.  I let the liquid applique dry for 24 hours then using a  heat gun to poof up the trim on the hat and inside the beverage too.

The bow is made from a soft jute (which reminds me of yarn), lots of buttons that have been threaded then hot glued into place, some snowflake pattern paper inside the scallop frame and a knit embossed background for a  bit of warmth and cozy fun!
Thanks for peeking, hope you have a great weekend!

Craft Sale find -- One Crazy Stamper Garage Sale

One Crazy Stamper had their garage sale this weekend. Its a yearly event and there's alway a bargins to be found!
The pictures below are from a this weekend and also the same sale from a few years back. Lots of fun & I always go with my friend Linda.
Here's Linda getting ready to shop!

 Some bargins!!
Lots of deals to be found!
I picked up this Witch stamp and had to colour her up last night!
I picked up some Sizzix bigz dies for a couple bucks a piece...
a rubber shim for the big shot (no clue how to use it)....
some rubber stamps, old ones from Stampin Up  perfect for Christmas ...
Thanks for peeking and watch out for those crafty sales! :D

Sparkle and Cheer, Merry Christmas -- High Hopes Stamps

Hello and Happy Saturday! Thanks for peeking in today :)
I've created a holiday box that could be filled with candies, scrapbook embellishments or maybe a Christmas ornament too :)

This beautiful quote is from High Hopes called ...

This is a must have for sure, totally classy  greeting in my opinion!
I stamped the sentiment in Tim Holtz  Festive Berries and pop dotted the greeting for added dimension.
A poinsettia die cut flower ( that I picked up at One Crazy Stamper was added to the top of the box). Silver Stickle, gum drops and ribbon for a little holiday fun!
Santa says hello :)
Have a great weekend!

A banner flag was created with the sentiment and hot glued behind the embellishment.  My image of sweet Elvira was been pop dotted for added dimension.  The image is coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut.

All hearts come home for Christmas -- High Hopes Stamps

We've been featuring the new release stamps from High Hopes this
week. I totally love Halloween and Christmases so these stamps are right
up my alley!

I used lots of blue and white and a touch of light red on this design. The ruffle is made with a strip of felt that has been serged for a finished edge look. The stitches plus  chaining on the winter mittens was also created with the Serger just for added fun. It reminds me of a  warm blanket stitch (which could also be created by hand sewing on felt ).

Snowflake embossing folder, Silver Stickles, Copic markers, the sentiment "All hearts come home for Christmas" , were also added to the card for some winter goodness. The felt mittens were created with a die cut and and some cozy felt that I ran through my Big Shot. The small hearts on the mittens were hand cut and hot glued into place.

Thanks for peeking, have a great  day ahead ♥

Halloween Fun -- High Hopes

Hi there, Its me I'm back again  to wish you a Happy Friday!
We are already in the month of October, can you believe it???
High Hopes just released a new set of stamps for Halloween and I've been wanting to get my hands on them all!!!!!!
Today I'm creating with High Hopes Bat Friends found here!
and
High Hopes Block Halloween found here!
I was just taught how to create a triangle card base and thought it would be fun to create a Halloween  scene!
I coloured the image with Copics,  fussy cut and pop dotted  this little cutie  for added dimension. The sentiment was turned into a banner flag along with an extra cut from pattern paper.  The little vampire in this scene has a piece of folded paper adhered to his back then to the base of the card so he will stand up without falling over :)

I realized part way through creating the card that the triangle base has a little pocket in the back that you could add some treats.  Since I created a Halloween card I think that worked out pretty darn good!
The Copics that were used to create today card were ...
C1,C3,C5,C7,W1,W3,W5,V01.V12,V15,E50,R20,E21,V03,Black Copic, Sharpie white
